A new study of the Öko-Institut e.V. (Institute for Applied Ecology) from Freiburg (Germany) analyses nanotechnologies in food.
Even though these technologies could be interesting for packaging, they are generally useless for food itself.

Impact of Europe's changing climate
The new report of the European Environment Agency (a cooperation work between: EEA, JRC-IES and WHO) presents past and projected climate and impacts by means of about 40 indicators and identifies sectors and regions most vulnerable. The report covers different indicator categories like atmosphere and climate, marine biodiversity and ecosystem, water quality and so on.
It shows the need for adaptation actions not only at European but also at national and regional level.
